My big question is why does religion have to be so creepy?

I imagine there are many people who sincerely want to be religious, yet they look at the various religions available and try to decide on one of them, and they realize all the religions are creepy. What's a person to do?

Good question. give some examples of creepiness. One for me is the smell of the inside of a church. Kind of weird
I go inside of a church, and besides posters and words and such......I don't "feel" God's presence. Never have, not even during services
