I find true actors absolutely inspiring. I have been watching the Starz series "Counterpart." J.K. Simmons is an amazing actor, playing two versions of a character at the same time.

This makes me ponder how we all show two sides of our selves. The person we want to be and the person we are forced to be due to social requirements and personal obligations.

If I had my wish, I would be living in a cabin in the mountains, just writing novels and spending time with my wife. But real life expects bills to be paid, etc.

Are you able to be the real you? Is your rebuke of religion the beginning of the new you or the end of your old persona?

Thoughts?

I'm pretty much able, and the older I get, the less intimidated I am by judgmental people.

I just looked it up - looks intriguing. Thanks for the tip!

It was the end of an old persona for sure... perhaps it was that realization that helped me leave it all behind.
