Some interesting findings...
What do you think?
I've always felt that team-stuff is better. The team sports are the sports that attract fans. The single-sports - golf, shooting, pool, chess - are active but very few spectators. At some very basic level we understand that we are all in this together. The West was won with farmers and storekeepers, not by Wyatt Earp and Rooster Cogburn.
I had never thought of compassion, empathy and charity as evolutionary advantages for mankind, but it does make sense. The findings about how much people with lower incomes give in contrast to wealthy people was also interesting (and also sheds some light on the way our politicians do things). Thanks for the post.
