Many years ago I took my son to see Les Paul in NYC. His mother finagled for him to go backstage, and he got an autograph from Les. As I explained who I was taking him to see, I likened it to meeting Babe Ruth or John Coltrane. When he got older, he understood. He's never forgotten that night.
My son is the lead singer, songwriter, and guitarist for Lovely the Band. They had the number 1 song on Billboard's alternative 100 last year, toured the world, and played Times Square on New Year's Eve.
