When Sheriffs Won't Enforce The Law [n.pr]
"Last fall, voters in Washington state approved a package of firearms restrictions,"
""My plan is not to enforce it," says Klickitat County Sheriff Bob Songer."
Is the whole office of sheriff obsolete yet?
A prominent Austin lawyer told me one night, if you get busted by the State police you are toast. They don't screw up. If it is the Austin Police, there is a chance they will screw something up in the arrest or paper work. If you get busted by the Sheriff's, he could get you off, because they always fuck something up. I would imagine that is true in most states.
