ANGRY BREAK UP SONGS
@magicwatch already posted sad breakup songs but how about some angry ones?!?
Two of my favorites:

  1. Kiss Off by The Violent Femmes
  2. Train In Vain by the Clash
I'd be interested in some newer ones too. I need the outlet!

Few have stated it as succintly and to the point as Harry Nilsson, wouldn't you agree?

Amazing! Can't believe I didn't know about this. Thanks!

Train in Vain makes my top 10, maybe even 5.

Can I get some more from you?

I will do some reasearch and post what I can come up with.

Here are some personal faves, with a link to my numbers one (by far), and two.

Respectable - Rolling Stones

Add it Up - the Kinks

Hit the Road Jack - Ray Charles

You're so Vain - Carly Simon

These Boots Are Made for Walkin' - Nancy Sinatra

I Will Survive - Gloria Gaynor

Cee Lo Green - Fuck You

Alanis Morissette - You Oughta Know

@Zster Nice list! Are you familiar with 'You're Breakin' My Heart' by Harry Nilsson (see my post)?

That one's great!!! In pulling that up, I stumbled across this. The relevance is questionable, but it was an interesting way to start my day.

@Zster and @pnullifidian I had no idea Harry Nilsson was soo coool. Thanks for all the songs. I just may have to put on my boots and do some walking!

You should try to catch his documentary on NetFlix, if they still offer it:

[dvd.netflix.com]

He did a LOT more songs (that I know) than I ever realized.

@Zster Please tag me @kmdskit3 or else I miss your interesting comments!

Will try my best to remember. Tagging is not necessarily my forte. Those asking are rather few. (;
