Things just like that are the reason I never reported my rape. I could just hear the questions, the ‘what were you wearing?’ ‘You had a beer?’ ‘You just met this guy?’ ...and I just couldn’t face it.
The whole system needs more change, from decreasing misogyny, dismantling rape culture, believing victims, better investigation and justice from law enforcement.
