Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.It's a tragedy that the American people have been so brainwashed about the origins (or is that oranges) and nature of socialism. Especially since there is a rich history of progressiveness in the US.
The establishment talks the talk of democracy, but the media walks the walk of conservative fascism.
It is almost like people would prefer to participate in their own oppression.

I wonder, if you are talking of two different things: social-democracy and/or socialism.
I recently saw a soy bean farmer being interviewed. Because of Trumps tariff war with China he would have lost money selling his crop so he ploughed it back in to the soil.He remained a supporter of Trump.
