Should safe drinking water be safe for EVERYONE? Or all water privatised like the CEO of Nestle stated. I think companies should not have any rights that stop regular people to survive..
The next thing they'll do is privatize the air we breathe.
The air has already been compromised..due to all the geo-engineering
I believe no company should profit from a natural resource...
I do not understand sate and local government reasoning. Water in lakes and rivers is considered a public resource, Yet, they sell out to companies like Nestle and allow them to mine water in the acquifer and sell it for a huge profit. If anything, it should be the state that should profit and use the funds to provide public services -- not exploitative extractive industry.
Now there's a good example of capitalistic thinking. It's time to boycott Nestle and all his subsidiary companies. That is a serious bullshit proposal. What is truly insane, inhumane, and heinous is he actually believes it. I can't believe he actually thinks this either. He doesn't think it's a human right to have access to water. He belongs on Trumps anti-environment team. It wouldn't be surprising if Trump recruited him.
I think this is one of the many aspects of capitalism that are so contrary to the social well being. It is time a truly beneficial economic system was developed that left no-one out but also prevented this sort of piracy of natural resources.
