LINK Trump administration eyes plan to reduce poverty by redefining it | MSNBC

This is not an atypical right wing ploy.

As an example, back when Reagan was president they redefined Mental Illness and put almost all the institutionalized patients on the streets. Many died on the streets and many ended up in prisons as a result. It was great for the profits of newly privatized prisons.

Surely there are no poor people in America. They are all millionaires in waiting. The infection is spreading over here and the UK is almost as unequal a society as the US.

yep, just keep lowering the bar. they're trying to get ahead of greater numbers of impoverished from the shrinking middle-class.

When nearly all are poor, then they are the average and the destitute become the new poor.
