The best thing to do is set up cams in your home and car and just record 24/7 into a personal cloud server setup either at home or AWS.

Privacy is effectively a moot concept. The government records us already, it's time for people to record the government, i.e. no privacy for any law making or enforcing decision. A video should always be available. Then evil truly can't hide. The technology is quite cheap, and ubiquitous. We should be using it.

Arrest each cop for OBSTRUCTION of justice destroying evidence of their criminal conduct

The fact that the recordings from multiple body cams were missing should be considered prima facie evidence of misconduct and they should be subject to disciplinary action.

Police departments don't exactly get the pick of the litter when it comes to hiring. Those not to bright and sometimes not very good individuals rise through the ranks and become the people in charge. Scary ain't it.
