LINK Parkland shooting: Should school officer be jailed for child neglect? - BBC News

As an officer he's sworn to protect and serve... However one of the changes against him is being neglectful as a 'caretaker' which from what I've read isn't something police officers are assigned to do.

When you're an officer and you hear the unmistakable sounds of automatic gunfire and you have only your handgun as an officer I would say you still have to 'protect and service'...

Thoughts?

He is the scale goat for a society unable or unmoved to do some real work on gun violence.

I don't have any. I wasn't there. I've been around a lot of gunfire.
