to answer your question: i am unsure whether humanity will chuck the necessary u-ie in time for us to get a second chance. & without being pessimistic, if you'd demand an assessment, i'd say, as a species we are too sluggish to suddenly adapt to a totally new way of life. i don't mind if humanity dies out - the better for the planet & all natural life on her, because i had a good life (good enough to be able to cheat on my profile & get away with 10 years less than my real age)

no doubt, it's just sad all the other animals we will take with us.
@LeighShelton, i don't understand - which other animals? humanity will crumble back into the soil, then flora & fauna & mother earth will take a deep breath & get on with their life. no?
oh yes, it will. I mean all the bigger species that will suffer because of us and the ones incapable of change like pandas and koala bears.the meek will inherit the earth but the meek are not humans.
