Who thinks taking guns away would solve the violence problem? For awhile it would get even more cruel. Can you picture this drive by cast iron panning. That until some creative person showed how magnets could be used
project an object quietly fast as the speed of sound. Or turn the laser in a DVD player Into a lethal weapon. Just examples.Americans can get very creative.

Most Americans lack the science train to develope anything that soffisticated.

The way some people carry on taking guns away should solve the gun problem. My point here is this is a misnomer.
