Truly scary article ... make no mistake--the ultra conservatives really are gearing up for US totalitarianism. They're experimenting with slogans and jargon like other fascist dictators have done. And their mere 40% loyal 'majority' are buying it without a second thought for conscience time after time. The 60% or so true majority aren't fully alert to how imminent the fascist threat to the survival of our society is. By 'blooding' the loyal Trump base like bloodhounds with test runs of savagery, the ultra conservatives are getting a measure of how readily they could trick an unsuspecting America into gradually acceding to first a totalitarian nationalist economy and next a government that protects it from 'socialist' human services. Anyone who thinks fascism is safer than social democracy needs their head examined.
