It would probably have cost them close to that for two cups of coffee in a pavement side cafe anyway. Lots of stories of tourists being ripped of by unscrupulous traders. A place to avoid I think.

I support Venice and other popular destination cities in cracking down on tourists' disrespectful, loutish behavior. This is not a campground.

I winced at all the belongings these tourists spread around. Right next to a canal. A strong wind could blow their stuff into the water.

File that under things stupid tourists do. A long list for sure.
