Well, Kirk's studies of Ancient Greek literature are as fascinating as they are erudite, but Picard's excavations at Byrsa vastly increased our knowledge of Carthage during the Classical era.

You did mean Geoffrey and Colette, right...?

I do, too. As an actual SF fan for the last 60 years, Stardreck and Starbores are at the bottom of my list of things to care about.
