I thought that was the protestant uprising that lead to the era where being Catholic was illegal. I forget the name. I was so angry about the pagans that I did exactly what I'm mad about and didn't double check the other half. When my hangover ends I will :

I confused the protestant part with the guy who taught everyone to read and the king was mad at him for it because he was Catholic during the era where everyone was supposed to be protestant and the king had him quartered. His followers brought his head back home where you can see it at a church north of Dublin. It was creepy af.

@Jnei absolutely. I'd rather be told I'm wrong and go find the truth. We need to self police so we all learn and better ourselves. I'm just so sick of the snake myth because every year hundreds of people share it and scream how he forgot one because they're pagan and I eye roll so hard it hurts.
