That is a very well-written opinion column on the way white America always gives a pass to white-supremacist Dale, but still imagines the worst about average black citizen Michael. The ways our media, politics, police, local customs are set up in favor of whites continues to undermine equality for non-whites, and yet all those power systems never actually admit their own part in preserving the inequality.

I am a Dale as this does not apply to me!!!
