LINK Generation Gap? or just a new part of our society?

It seems like the concept of younger people leading the older people, is pretty new. Or is it? How long has it been since we had discreet generations of fully functioning adults? Im guessing only a few generations.

There has Always been a "generation gap"! WTH are you talking like it just got invented?

It sounds like the term is less than 100 years old. In the context of human civilization, or western civilization, thats nothing. I don't know if other cultures have the same term.

@MarkiusMahamius there are texts from Plato's time complaining about the younger generation.....
