Prisoner's Dilemma and "self-interest."

Capitalism's exhortation of "self-interest" is nothing more than the bald pronouncement that defection is a "rational" choice in a prisoner's dilemma game. But who is the "cop" in the game? The 1%. The hyper-rich.

The defection is undoubtedly the stupid choice, and yet we fall for it time and again. It's because we've allowed them to define what our self-interest is.

I call it the injustice system or a kangaroo court. Luckily after 40 years of business only went to court once. Won but you still get screwed twice, for loss of money and wasted time.
