Too many things in the US are tied to income. Getting more money per month would make people ineligible for all sorts of things. Itd be a drain. The aporoach to our safety net needs to be more complex than throwing money.

@AhmedLax Can’t think why it would be a problem, but I’ve not studied economics and how it fits into the sociological scheme of things

Probably lots of hidden complexities that can be used to deter policy makers.
