I've only listened to a handful. I mostly enjoy true crime right now. I thoroughly enjoy Science and comedy, so if anyone has any suggestions in those genres, I'd like to hear them
Sam Harris's Waking Up podcast
The Joe Rogan experience podcast both are IMO pretty interesting.
Not necessarily science/comedy, but these are in my regular lineup for my 2 - 2 1/2 hours on the road every day.
Code Switch (Race, identity)
Dear Sugars
Death, Sex & Money
Love + Radio
Make Me Smart with Kai Ryssdal and Mollie
The Moth
Planet Money
Relationship Alive (sometimes)
S-Town! (I admit, I didn't like the ending, but good story.)
Serial - Season 1
Terrible, Thanks for Asking
This American Life
This is Actually Happening
Wait Wait Don't Tell Me
Waking Up - Sam Harris (science and philosophy)
What are some of your favorites @carcmcgarc?
I'm still a pretty new-ish listener. I started with Serial season 1, and then moved onto Undisclosed, then season 2 of Serial (which I actually found pretty interesting, but nowhere near season 1). This American Life. I listened to S-Town three times. John B. McLemore was a flawed, but fascinating man. A few others crime ones I can't remember because I didn't really like the voices of the people. I seem to require a combination of interesting material and an easy to listen to voice.
I like Death Sex and Money too!
I also like radio lab and more perfect
@carcmcgarc Just heard he’s getting a new trial. I’m glad.
Dan Carlin's Hardcore History (No, it is not porn!) Speculation and commentary on history. If Dan had have been my high school history teacher, I would not have skipped class!
Dan Carlin's "Common Sense" podcast is a Political Commentary podcast by a self-described "political martian." It is neither Right nor Left.
Bill Burr's Monday morning podcast
Joe Rogan's podcast
Your Mom's house
Razor on Los Anarchy ( mine)
Welcome to Night Vale. And I've seen them live twice. Cecil is amazing.
"Great lives" BBC iPlayer radio 4 & many of the other ones mentioned. I ditched TV 5 years ago and have filled that space with quiet, reading, radio & podcasts ??
The F Plus, The Dollop... I'm sure there are more, these are just the ones that come to mind.
