LINK Coronavirus: Could Donald Trump delay the presidential election? - BBC News

Interesting conundrum. It all hinges around elections, naturally 🙂
Do you think that the system is able to withstand a 'socially distanced' election, if so what would it look like?
Given the GOP reluctance to maximise postal ballots and the democratic inability to command the stage, what do you think will happen?
Food for thought, and debate, let's go.

The date of national elections is IN THE Constitution (12th amendment) !

It is statutorily set as "the Tuesday next after the first Monday in the month of November" or "the first Tuesday after November 1". The earliest possible date is November 2, and the latest possible date is November 8.

Thank you, I wasn't aware that the date was constitutionally mandated. Interesting thought though 🙂
