Perhaps this should have a byline of: The PR of Science
This is not really about Flat Earth - it is about how and why people doubt science and raises a number of fascinating questions regarding science, faith and just plain stubborness. It is long (if you like start at 7:26 to get to the meat of it) but quite well worth the watch.
If you do watch it - please comment on what you find the most interesting or debatable concept.
I liked the philosophical explanation of the "social constructs" of scientific knowledge.
I don't see flat earthers, climate deniers, anti-vaccers making predictions that can or have been verified. Is there anything other than science that has this useful capability ?
