I have read two novels written by paulo coelho. The Alchemist and Adultery. One thing I have noticed in both the novels is the importance he gives to religious beliefs. I don't know much about
Philosophy and stuff, But I feel like he is writing with an intention to gain popularity and is giving less importance to real life problems. Do you think that he is an overrated novelist?
I really enjoyed The Alchemist. I also try to appreciate books for what they are rather than what I may want them to be. For me, the point to reading anything is exploration and discovery of new words and ideas or to gain a better understanding of known ones.
