Mom left me a message describing over a thousand she walked a ways with a couple days ago. With family, she, in her mid eighties, finally stepped off to the side.. Said she was able to encourage others, though, and that all were so kind to her. “Most likely because I’m a little old woman” she said 
Glad it was a message, allowed me to listen several times before checking in. It’s like nothing she’s ever participated in, Portland metro area ~
