@nogod4me I read the article. I paid 600,000 dollars in estate taxes when my dad died in 2005 and I’m certainly not rich. I also pay 10,000 per year in property taxes, not to mention income and payroll taxes each year. Enough is enough!

If you have read "A People's History of the United States" by Howard Zinn you can clearly see how both of these parties consistantly have divided the people through racism and greed in order for the rich to be in control.

They will never let you win the game. Unless you are rich enough not to pay taxes, you and I, and other taxpayers, will bear the brunt of it. Being a Republican or Democrat doesn't really matter in this case.

@nogod4me The republicans have in general tried to reduce taxes. The estate tax exemption has doubled under Trump. Also Trump has done my away with a lot of regulations enacted under Obama. The democrats on the other hand have generally always favored higher taxes and more regulations. So I am done with the democrats.

Why is it that the looney democrat judges always want to legislate from the bench. Hell just look at those liberal idiots like Ginburg, Sonimeyer, Breyer and Kegan, all democrat appointee’s who don’t even recognize the 2nd amendment as giving private citizens the right to possess firearms.

@Trajan61 Who said anything about judges? I wrote about District Attorneys. They don’t legislate, they prosecute. In general, neither Democrat nor Republican DAs prosecute the police for misconduct.

As for judges, both Democratic and Republican Supreme Court justices have added more and more protections for police officers over the years by creating a “qualified immunity” rule (is that legislating?) that protects police from being sued for misconduct. Just yesterday the Supreme Court refused to take up several qualified immunity cases in the next term, a decision opposed by the libertarian CATO Institute.
