I love Uganda and its peoples, probably more so than my own birth-nation of Kenya. Here's part of the reason why - they're generally wonderfully humane humans. (Despite people like Idi Amin - who was responsible for the deaths of quite a few of my friends and who almost got me also.)

I happen to think Kenyans are very nice people from my visit there.
I agree, my family were in Kenya from 1918, and in Africa for an unknown time before then.
I left aged 47 to settle in Spain, but still have friends and family there. I made good Kenyan friends, but the friends I had in Uganda were superb.
