More science fiction, all of it by people who are trying to explain a mathematics-only model of the universe in which gravity is the only force. They invent the particles their equations need.
They will continue until governments stop giving them taxpayers’ money. Happily, the US is not one of those gov’ts.

The answer to the meaning of life and everything else in it, is...- 44.

That looks like it’s from the Hitchhiker’s Guide.

That's right.
Now their machine is looking into the future for the question.

I was once nuts about physics and a local close friend is actually a physicist and worked at a lab at the Univ. of Washington labs right here in the islands. There was a program on Netflix about trying to find the 'god' particle (Higgs-Boson) and it was done at this super-collider in CERN. A larger facility was being built in Texasssss but the local politicians killed it (after millions had already been spent) because in their tiny minds they didn't see any need for it. Besides, what if, just like the namesake, there was no 'god' particle. This machine is the most complicated and largest machine in existence and is really a WOW machine and we watched the program numerous times (Particle Fever)

Still, just watching the trailer really chokes me up. Thanks for the reminder.
