The Atlantic is incorrect. The homeless can vote in all 50 states though there are logistical challenges.

"Voting" does not work anyway, so what's the big loss there? Even if voting did work, it's waaaay low of the list of priorities for surviving. Food and water are much higher up.

It's not that they can't it's that they will be made to think they can't, shouldn't or won't

Voter suppression laws. Homeless people should be allowed to vote. In Pennsylvania they've been registering people in shelters. A lot of those people are on the street much of the time.

The law is different in every state. Voter suppression laws. Some states have voter ID some have residency requirements and they challenge the addresses making it very hard for transient people.
