Whenever you think about how religion affects the abortion debate, you probably think of conservative Christians using the Bible to argue against abortion rights. Certainly, they’re the ones in political power.
But now a group of Jews are invoking the Hebrew Bible to promote reproductive rights. ...
I'm pro choice, but let's keep religion out of it. This may be a strategy to debate abortions but religion drives the entire debate. Pro-life? Only for the unborn. Otherwise, they're against universal healthcare, pro death penalty (en masse), they won't wear masks, they're Pro Death. Once these children are born, they're against CHIPS, child care, nutrition programs, universal Pre-K, school lunch programs. This is just fact. As far as Jews using Old Testament passages? I'm not saying everyone pro-life but "Pro-life Activists" are often anti-Semitic and this would fuel vast conspiracy theories about how they want to kill our babies.
