Who funded the "Defund" movement? Haven't heard much about the origins of the movement both in thoughts and dollars previous to the whole nationwide protests that occurred following the death of Floyd. There have indeed been groups working against police brutality the entire time, years of sustained effort, and organizations who have some of the same goals as the "defund the police movement", however, defund itself is new, is it not? What are it's origins?

Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button."Defund the Police" is a slogan that arose out of the Black Lives Matter movement. Even if it were a "movement", movements aren't funded like organizations are.
