No performer does as well without an audience. Tha tis why so many TV shows are taped with a live audience.
I remember back in college, when I performed in a few plays, there is a synergy that glows between the audience and the performers.
This is the new show. That game audience is funnier than having a real audience with the canned laughter.

I don't agree I use to love his shows he kept me sane and its just different
not gonna stop watching though
