That’s disgusting, imagine if that extra money went into healthcare instead of from Peter to pay Paul. This is why I keep saying ethics needs to be introduced to capitalism, when the system gets this out of whack with the purchase price...i mean sure, someone paid to develop the test, but you can your bottom dollar that that’s not where all of that $10,976 went!
Plus we’ve all seen those movies where insurance claims usually get checked out, sometimes to a degree that makes the claimant uncomfortable, why do hospitals get a hall pass.
