Any social/philanthropic groups that do not require a belief in a higher power?

I'd love to join a club/group that does community work. (Like elks/masons), but it seems that most I've found have a prerequisite of belief in a higher power. Is anyone aware of orgs that don't?

Good question! There are groups like [foundationbeyondbelief.org] but they are charities, not necessarily a social group.

Rotary and Lions club (already mentioned) seem to be secular social philanthropic groups.
