This year President Donald Trump has positioned himself as the defender of a threatened Christian America under siege. “In America, we don’t turn to government to restore our souls, we put our faith in Almighty God,” he said at the Republican National Convention.

With soul and it often used among those expecting eternal, for ever living, they are saying their soul or personality,, both being unique to each individual, will pass on with them in the afterhere or the hereafter. Other wise, soul and personality in the here and now would seem to me to be the same thing.

I have no idea if I have a soul or not, I do not clean it in the shower, I do not set a place for it at dinner, and I sure as heel do not let it order when at a restaurant.
