Quartz article about the impact of Joe Biden's win
Whoever wrote that article is pretty gullible about Biden. Out of all the issues in the list, I would say the only ones Biden will push for change on is Covid response, improving foreign relations, and engaging more constructively with China. He also might push for a public option being added to Obamacare, but I wouldn't hold my breath on that. In fact, if the ACA is tossed by the SC, I don't know if he will even push all the way to restore it. He gets way too much campaign money from the healthcare industry. Somebody seems to believe way more than me that pols like Biden mean everything they say during campaigns.
Biden will be stuck with a Republican Senate and a Ultra-Conservative Supreme Court. If he wants to make a change he'll have to make lots of executive orders. That will really piss off the right wing. Never say die. I say kill. What's the guy got to lose? When his term is up he'll be 82 years old. What are they gonna do to him? He's already won the longevity battle.
