Healthcare should not be a for profit enterprise. Blue cross Blue Shield ran an operation that everyone wanted. Every union wished they could get their plan and then it was ruined by becoming a for profit business. If it ran so successfully for many years why do we need to recreate a format. Let us go back to their plan as universal coverage with one payer and eliminate the greed and provide what is possible for a better life for everyone.
