Open minds are more creative.
If you visit the Iowa State Capitol starting tomorrow, you will see a Christmas tree smack dab in the middle of the rotunda. But surrounding it, since there’s an open forum available to anyone who wants to take advantage of it, will be a record seven displays from atheist groups.
This happened years ago at the Seattle/Tacoma airport. A Jewish group were allowed to put up their display and after a lot of anger it was said it was allowed as it was a public space. Then FFRF put up their display which was stolen and then found and returned. People hit the roof and, in the end, the governor decreed there would be no more 'special' displays. This is what FFRF was going for and should be the policy of all public displays.
