The state's attorney general wants the Supreme Court to reverse a lower court ruling that found Indiana laws limiting who can be called a parent were unconstitutional.
There are bigger issues to deal with at this time.

Adopted parents are able to be on amended birth certificates while originals with whatever known bio info are sealed by courts if the adult adoptee should ever request. I don't see how this should be any different. This isnt confusing. It was correctly ruled unconstitutional.
I'm bi and agree with you. The BC is more of a legal proof of existence, which is a form of contract, so needs to be fully accurate but respect originating parent's names.
