As this post shows, I have called for the death penalty for these cops. Please understand I am venting my anger and frustration at the situation (and yes, it might sound very childish thing to say).

They do not deserve the death penalty, but they should be fired, not allowed to collect their pension, and should also be investigated and prosecuted, if cause is found, for participating in a conspiracy that led to a violent attack on the capital that resulted in several deaths.
