I think it was Theodore Roosevelt that wrote "No man is above the law."? So if one can pardon self (thus putting self above law) or manipulating so bya resigning after deal with Vice President (ye ole Nixon/Ford gambit) in this case a tRump/Pence gambit...do you see an inconsistency here?
Anyway, Pence might then have an airport and road (and yikes maybe a library) named after him as ole Fordee did. Nice machiavellian lesson for our youngsters, eh?
