That's funny! LOL Trump a Christian bakery? But the bad part is, and where comparison falls short, is the effect on the broader political landscape. You cannot say that twitter's current silencing of opposing political voices is not a violation of public trust and akin to a form of persecution. The gay cake seeker can find another bakery, the twitter user cannot.
At some point I think things like Twitter and news outlets need to be run as public utilities (maybe non profit?) with standards to insure fairness. I mean yeah, not sure of the best way to do that, but having separate platforms each preaching to the converted so to speak has led to factions living in alternate realities. It's been a disaster, and the free market isn't going to fix it.
Why don't we educate people, stop creating a society were people within it can't/won't and don't want to deominize "the other". Wouldn't it be nice to try. sigh.
Yeah the tech companies are silencing the separate platforms! We can't even say that they are in separate tech platforms.
