How many of you read a newspaper every day as I do . I find it hard to have an intelligent conversation with people due to the fact that when I bring up a certain fact about various subjects i have read about, they have not a clue as to what I am talking about .This could be about current events, science ,local government ,politics, human interest stories etc. TV and the internet do not have the same content ( especially about local City and State issues )or give you the special experience of reading a newspaper.

stop reading the papers. LIES and OMISSIONS. watch democracy now if you really want to be depressed. I would say give your heart a rest and read a good historical novel

I have the news on Facebook. I don't have time to sit and read a paper. I have ADHD and can't focus to read long articles or even a book anymore. I'm reading words from my intellectual's thesaurus/dictionary. As well as the dictionary. A few words at a time.

I would if I had the time. Hard to do whith my hours. I watch national news every morning before leaving and local news on dvr when I get in. I try to stay informed the best I can. My dad always said that if you DONT read the news your just not informed. If you DO read the news your misinformed. I think it's all in who's reporting. i can always remember somthing I've read better than somthing I watched. Maybe when I retire I'll take the paper.

I read it daily, and do the crossword. It's a ritual.

Great to hear this. As soon as I get up I get the news paper ( its delivered ) and read it while I drink my only cup of coffee of the day
