Hey, not fair.... they didn't give me a sticker! Or a hat, t-shirt, pin, tattoo, or anything else... just the shot in the arm. OK, can't complain, but I hope they have something to show we're relatively safe after shot #2.
My coworkers were complaining they didn’t get stickers either. They were sitting on the table where I made my second appointment so I’m thinking they just missed seeing them. I work for a MN county and was able to see a few coworkers getting their shots at the same time. I’m guessing they were distracted chatting and missed the stickers
@Marcie1974 I'll LOOK for them on the next visit. They gave me a card to show for the next shot and another person gave me instructions for side-effects. There should really have been a sticker attached to one of those to show the world we're halfway there. But this is WV... things don't always go the way one might expect, here.
You're younger than me, Marcie, how'd you swing that? Must be because you live in a blue state while I live in red Iowa. In my county, they are still not ready yet to allow vaccine for people under 65 like me that have underlying high risk conditions. I qualify for that next group because I have cardiomyopathy. My turn probably won't come until May, at least.
So frustrating! I work for a county and that’s how I was able to get mine quickly without having underlying conditions. Governor Walz and the MN DHS is doing a good job of getting people vaccinated at a pretty good pace
I got my first Moderna Shot on 2/27. My second is scheduled for 3/27. There was such a shortage of vaccine in Illinois that it was frustrating trying to get an appointment for that first dose. It took me weeks to find one and I'm 1b. Fortunately I was able to schedule the second one pretty easily. But I read that people are still having trouble getting the first one .
That’s sad. I live in MN and things are moving at a pretty good pace. I’m not at risk but I work for the county and was able to get vaccinated through them. Feeling very grateful
