Dr Richard J Parmley is my mother's cousin. Mother always said that I reminded her of him. Sadly just a couple of months after this piece aired, he was found in his home Nov 1993 murdered by gunshots. The crime has yet to be solved. However there are some interesting details. He had filed for divorce from his wife who he had caught having a long time affair with a St. Louis cop. She wasn't getting anything in the divorce. You do the math. He was 59 when he died.
