When I tell people I'm part of the silent generation, almost every one of them say you've never been silent.

I think all of these generational designations are ridiculous, especially the so-called “silent generation.” Whoever coined that term didn’t know jack about history.

A lot of people call me a boomer and they mean it as an insult. Technically I'm a Generation Jones, but they include it in "boomers" It's no better than picking on the millennials.
