You drive to a Wal-Mart and steal a car from way back of the parking lot, those are employee cars who are working a shift. Drive the getaway car back to Wal-Mart and get your own car. He could've stolen a cell phone and took an Uber. Real smart of him to have the cab driver drop him off at his own house.
