"Congratulations for living in reality!" a man called.
"Washington State Democrat!" a man called in the Fred Meyer parking lot yesterday. Clearly he read the sign in my rear car window. "Congratulations for living in reality!"
"Thank you!" I called with my voice muffled by a mask. Before I could remove my mask and chat with him, he got into his truck and drove away. He looked to be in his 50s or 60s.
This cheered me up.
